Seminar shall be inaugurated by The Director, SRG Engineering College, Namakkal. Inaugural Address by Honorable Director and The Principal, SRG Engineering College, Namakkal will be addressing welcoming speech.

9.30 - 10.00 AM: Key address by Chief Guest from NIT, Trichy

10.00 - 11.30 AM: 1st Session - Latest Trends in Bio-Fuel technology

11.30 - 11.45 AM: Brunch

11.50 AM - 1.20 PM: 2nd Session - Advancement in Phase change Materials (PCM)

SRG: Department of Mechanical Engineering

" Automation of Practical Knowledge "

The Mechanical Engineering department is established to impart concepts of automation, industrialization and manufacturing with enriched theory and innovative practical knowledge. Mechanical engineers involve in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of machines. The department is aimed to train students with the analytical mindset, technical skills, engineering insight, and practical problem solving abilities. This department is organized by our Head of the department Mr. G. Vijayasekaran, M.E., M.I.S.T.E., SAE, Asst. Professor.  
Our department conducting a wide range of seminar on ''Latest trends in application of Thermodynamics'', mainly bio-fuels, phase change materials (PCM) and composite and nano camposite materials which is organized and co-ordinated by Mr. G. Vijayasekaran and Mr. A. Mathankumar. M. E., Asst. Professor, of our department on 23rd Feb, 2018.                                                
We have invited high profile legends in the field of the same from NIT, Trichy and IIT, Chennai as honorable chief guests, and name of the professors will be remain suspense. We are heartily requesting and inviting Universities, colleges, faculty and students to attend and participate in the seminar with warm welcome. Discussion and question session after the presentation on latest discoveries and invention help us to understand and gain knowledge on recent facts theoretically and technically.

SRG Engineering College is a private, self financing institution founded in the year 2009 by our honorable chairman, Mr. P. Jayaraj, B. A. in Namakkal. This institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It serves students from various parts of India, which include Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and NRIs who aspire to be technocrats.
